7 things - tag, you're it
I suck at memes. The lovely and talented Haze tagged me AGES ago with meme, and I have just been lame lame lame.
But, here - finally - are seven random bits about me that you might not know:
- I am so very frightened by the sound of an alarm clock that I usually wake up just before it rings.
3. I have scars on my left arm from being bitten by a bitch camel in the Moroccan Sahara.
4. I had an impassioned affair with the hot young Bedouin guy who gave me first aid post-camel-bite. (I still wonder from time to time what my life would be like if I had accepted his marriage proposal.)
5. Despite my recent rant against things pink, I think pink wine is underrated - there is a lot of killer rosé out there, people. Get over it. Or don't - that just leaves more for me. :-)
6. I think names affect us profoundly. (I’ve never liked anyone named Larry, and only recently met someone decent named Stacy.)
7. I'm taking classes to learn how to do letterpress - seems my word geekiness has spilled over into book geekiness. I can't wait to press my own baby announcments for Sprout.
I hereby tag the following cool interesting women who i'm sure have 7 juicy tidbits they can share: jen, pamplemousse, carrie1, ASF, carrie2, maggie, and paige (who doesn't have a blog, but really really should, and perhaps this will push her over the edge?)

but actually, if she hadn't mauled me, i wouldn't have needed the first aid. and if i hadn't needed first aid, then the handsome and charming Lahcen would not have attended to me.

I love the idea of putting the 7 things on my blog (should it be a list of ANY 7 type of things or should it be 'funny little-known things about me' like yours?) but I am probably not going to send it out to others. Perhaps I am just not popular enough, hee hee.

darn it, I was also tagged by Haze, and have also been procrastinating. I'd better get on it. Don't think I can top the camel biting story and followup though. :)

Great 7 things, Chou2. I cringe at the camel story but as long as the after care was worth it - and it sounds like it damn well was!
Also, you are a bigger word geek than me - and words are my job! (you wouldn't believe it from my writing, would you?!)

Oh, duh - I guess you can tell what my life is like from the fact it took me 5 months to notice the meme tag. Hopefully I'll post mine a little faster than that.
