Magic De-Skunkifying Solution

Ingredients:

2 Tbs Liquid Dish Soap

1/4 Cup Baking Soda

1 Quart Hydrogen Peroxide (3% solution)

Method:

* Mix all ingredients in a bucket.

* Apply immediately. (You want to take advantage of the magic foaminess, so don’t set it aside then come back to it - act now!)

* Leave on dog for "a while". (I left it on for ~10 minutes.)

* Rinse well.

* And then rinse again.

A few important notes:

1. Don't let the dog lick the solution. Be careful around his/her eyes and mouth.

2. All the clothing you have on while administering this treatment will essentially be ruined, so don’t wear your kicky new Mark Jacobs pants.

3. If you have dark hair, cover it up unless you want a rather creative bleach job.

4. Wear gloves if you are fastidious. I tried to wear gloves, but they bugged me, so I ended up taking them off -- my cuticles are now VERY clean. :-)

5. Do not store the mixture in a closed container - it will explode and create a day almost as bad as the day your dog got skunked.
