car karma v. house karma

Yesterday, as i reported here, i got in a car accident. Last night my sister called to tell me that she *also* was in an accident on the way home -- someone rear-ended her car when she was zooming along the highway minding her own biznuss.

what are the odds? neither one of us usually has traffic incidents of any kind...

happily, the bad car karma hasn't interfered with good house karma:

1. she is (finally) in escrow, having accepted a decent offer for her house. YAY!!! so happy for her.

and

2. escrow closed on the House I Love!! It is official MINE [rubs hands together greedily].
