Ethiopia Goes to War
It's not a very merry Christmas for me, I'm afraid. Woke up to headlines that Ethiopia has bombed Somalia, and officially declared war.
This does not bode well for my adoption plans, I'm afraid. The worst part is that I don't really know how it will affect me -- or how long it will be before peace returns to the region.
I am so frustrated! Please, God, let this conflict get resolved quickly... there are so many many lives at stake.

I'll be praying for them and that it doesn't affect your adoption plans much.
When I heard this on the news today I felt sick and sad. I have said many prayers that it is resolved quickly, that as few people as possible lose lives and that adoptions from Ethiopia are continued and safe, I also prayed for all the children waiting.
